The one question that seems to be asked more than any other, however, is "Why Mukwonago?" "We knew from the beginning that opening the office in Mukwonago would pose a bigger challenge than a place where people are more familiar with our type of business," says Meurer. "Both the village and the people of Mukwonago impressed us. We felt the location outweighed the challenge of getting the word out about our business." Kuznacic, Meurer's partner in Cash Works, is a 2002 graduate of Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, with a degree in International Business and Management. He developed the business plan for Cash Works during his senior year at Dickinson. After setting the business plan aside to start planning for a career in Washington, D.c. he was offered financial backing for the company by Meurer. "At that point, it was pretty much a done deal," says Kuznacic. "To get this kind of experience and see my own company materialize was an opportunity I could not pass up." A business philosophy based on relationship building, customer service, responsible lending, and competitive pricing is what sets Cash Works apart from its nationally franchised competitors, says Kuznacic. "One of our primary goals in starting Cash Works has been to inspire change within an industry that is seeing an increasing demand among consumers from all walks of life." Reasonable rates, resourceful options, and responsible lending... That's the Cash Works way! Cash Works is a Financial Service Center offering payday loans and title loans, and specializing in small loans of $50 to $1,000. It is located in the Taco Bell Plaza in Mukwonago, just off I-43 and Highway 83. Both Matt and Rebekah invite you to stop in or call with any questions about how Cash Works might work for you. Open Monday thru Saturday. For more information, call (262) 363-1340. Cash Works was bought in July 2004 by Tamara Towns-Pozorski and John Pozorksi Jr.
(as appeared in Bear Tracks - June 2005) "That's why we have developed our business based on reasonable rates, resourceful services and responsible lending," said owners Tamara and John Pozorski Jr. "We will do whatever is necessary to help you regain control of your finances - including reviewing your current budget and helping you to prepare a new budget to meet your monthly financial demands. At Cash Works, you are more than just our customer; you are our neighbor. That's the Cash Works way," Tamara and John said. Cash Works offers Pay Day and Title loans. Their specialty is short-term loans for up to $1,000. "Almost all Pay Day and Title loan companies are corporately owned. We are a locally owned family business, which allows us a more personal, welcoming environment," the owners said. "We are very easy to talk to and are happy to answer any questions people may have about us and/or our services." PayDay Loans are for people who are running low of cash and need a quick loan to tide them over until payday. Cash Works will hold your personal check and deposit it after your next payday, up to 14 days. They will also prorate your fees if you need a payday loan for less than 14 days. Title loans use your vehicle's title as collateral for your loan. The period of a title loan is 30 days and vehicles must be 10 years old or newer. Tamara and John bought Cash Works about a year ago, although the business has been in the minimall for about 3 1/2 years. Tamara has a psychology degree from UW-Milwaukee and a business minor. John has a degree in computer science, and the couple has a nine month old son, John Joseph. Both Tamara and John invite you to stop in or call with any questions about how Cash Works might work for you. They are open Monday through Saturday. For more information, call 262-363-1340. |
